Cream Puffs
Cream puffs are just plain decadent. The combination of a crunchy choux pasty and rich whipped cream is superb.
- Choux pastry recipe
- Whipped cream recipe
- Chocolate sauce recipe
- Make the choux pastry and put it in a piping bag or a freezer bag.
- Pipe onto parchment paper on a baking pan. Use a circular motion. Make sure that the bottom of each cream puff is solid.
- Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes or until a golden colour.
- Cool completely on a wire rack.
- Cut the top off each pastry and fill with whipped cream.
- Put the top back on and cover with chocolate sauce.
- Drizzling icing sugar over the puff makes it look spectacular. A strawberry garnish also does wonders.
Pipe in Lemon Filling and top with whipped cream.
